The numbers
What it is
Arm's first self-designed data center chip, built on TSMC's 3nm process, with up to 136 Neoverse V3 cores and a 300-watt power draw. It targets agentic AI servers. Meta co-developed it and will use it alongside its MTIA accelerator.
Why it matters to the stock. It moves Arm from selling designs toward selling its own silicon, which tests its relationships with licensees and with x86 rivals Intel and AMD.
