Orion rack-scale architecture

A bring-your-own-GPU or CPU rack reference design built on Astera's 320-lane PCIe switch fabric. It scales from 8 to 160 GPUs per pod, is split into six reference designs, and is managed with COSMOS software. Astera plans to extend it to open interconnects including UALink.

Why it matters to the stock. Orion moves Astera from selling chips into selling full rack designs. The company is pursuing a bigger share of the value in each AI rack, so Orion is a test of whether OEMs and ODMs will adopt the design.
