What it is
The Energy Server is a solid oxide fuel cell module that produces electricity from natural gas or biogas through an electrochemical reaction, so it does not burn fuel. Bloom sells it as on-site power for data centers, utilities and industrial sites. It is the source of nearly all of the company's product revenue.
Why it matters to the stock. This is the core revenue engine. Each quarter's product revenue depends on how many systems Bloom can build and ship, so manufacturing capacity and order timing set the trend.
