What it is

Oracle's flagship relational database, sold as licences with annual support and as Oracle-run cloud database services, including on OCI. Oracle does not break out database revenue; the 10-K has one cloud and software segment.

Why it matters to the stock. Database licence renewals and cloud migrations feed the cloud and software business, which was 87% of FY2026 revenue. Flat support revenue means the database franchise is growing mainly through cloud.
