What it is

The original MicroStrategy business. Strategy One is the cloud-native BI platform with dashboards, reports, AI agents and embedded analytics. Strategy Mosaic is the universal data layer that defines metrics in one place. This is the operating business that produces the company's reported revenue, and it is the part of the company that traditional software analysts value.

Why it matters to the stock. Its revenue is the only operating cash source in the group, and the shift from perpetual licenses and support to subscriptions decides whether the software base can keep pace with its growing preferred dividend obligations.
