SK hynix becomes EPIC Center founding partner in long-term DRAM and HBM R&D deal

Applied and SK hynix signed a long-term R&D agreement to speed up next-generation DRAM and high-bandwidth memory for AI systems. Engineers from both companies will work at the EPIC Center in Silicon Valley, and the programs will draw on Applied's advanced packaging research in Singapore. SK hynix is named a founding partner of the center, which Applied says opens later in 2026.
