Caterpillar commits up to $10 million to Illinois manufacturing training

Caterpillar allocated up to $10 million in Illinois under its Building the Future Workforce Initiative, the latest state allocation at the time. The money goes to training for manufacturing and technician jobs at sites in East Peoria, Mapleton, Morton, Pontiac and Decatur. The announcement was made at the Edwards Demonstration and Learning Center.
