Circle jumps 19.9% to $119.53 on CLARITY Act stablecoin yield compromise

Circle shares rose 19.89% to close at $119.53 on May 4 after Senators Thom Tillis and Angela Alsobrooks finalized compromise language on stablecoin yield in the CLARITY Act. The compromise was reported to bar passive, bank-deposit-like interest on stablecoin balances while keeping activity-linked rewards. The rally recovered part of the March 24 sell-off.
