Nebius to join the Nasdaq-100 in the June 2026 rebalance
Nasdaq announced its June 2026 quarterly changes to the Nasdaq-100 and added Nebius, together with Astera Labs, CoreWeave, Rocket Lab and Teradyne. Charter Communications, Cognizant, Insmed, Verisk and Zscaler were removed. Index funds that track the Nasdaq-100 must buy the new members, so the change creates forced demand that is typically concentrated in the days before the effective date. The shares rose sharply on the announcement.
- Added: Nebius (NBIS), Astera Labs (ALAB), CoreWeave (CRWV), Rocket Lab (RKLB), Teradyne (TER)
- Removed: Charter Communications, Cognizant, Insmed, Verisk Analytics, Zscaler
- Effective before market open on June 22, 2026
- Index-tracking funds must buy the new members
