NFL and Netflix extend media rights deal through the 2029-30 season

Netflix and the NFL agreed to a four-year media rights extension through the 2029-30 season. Each season Netflix gets a game in Week 1, a new game on the night before Thanksgiving, and a game in Week 18, along with the NFL Honors show. Netflix keeps one Christmas Day game a year after this season, which adds recurring live-sports cost against ad inventory.
