Palo Alto Networks named a founding partner of Anthropic's critical infrastructure program

On October 8, 2026 Anthropic launched its Critical Infrastructure Defense Program for operators of operational technology such as power grids and water systems. Palo Alto Networks is one of 11 founding partners, alongside CrowdStrike, Accenture, Deloitte, Dragos and others. Anthropic will provide frontier Claude models, on-site engineers and threat research, and no financial terms were disclosed for the partners.
