Salesforce starts a $25 billion accelerated share repurchase, its largest ever
Salesforce paid $25 billion up front under accelerated share repurchase agreements and received about 103 million shares, roughly 80% of the expected total. The deal is half of the $50 billion authorization, and final settlement is expected in the third or fourth quarter of fiscal 2027. The size of the buyback is a direct test of how the company values its own stock after the software sell-off.
