UnitedHealthcare unveils 2027 Medicare plan lineup focused on $0 premiums and lower costs

UnitedHealthcare said its 2027 Medicare plans will focus on affordability and simpler benefits. About 90% of people with access to a Medicare Advantage plan can choose a $0-premium option, and all members get $0 primary care visits, $0 preventive care and $0 Tier 1 prescription copays. The release came a week before CMS published the 2027 star ratings, which determine bonus payments for the plans.
