TI launches TDA5 automotive compute SoC, 8x8 imaging radar and 10BASE-T1S Ethernet PHY at CES
At CES 2026, TI introduced the TDA54-Q1 system-on-chip for automotive AI and sensor fusion, the AWR2188 single-chip 4D imaging radar transceiver and the DP83TD555J-Q1 Ethernet PHY. The TDA54-Q1 scales from 10 to 1,200 TOPS and supports up to SAE Level 3 autonomy. Samples of the SoC go to select automotive customers by the end of 2026, while the radar and Ethernet parts are available in preproduction quantities.
- TDA54-Q1 SoC: 10 to 1,200 TOPS of edge AI performance, above 24 TOPS/W, chiplet-ready with UCIe
- Samples of the TDA54-Q1 to select automotive customers by the end of 2026; TDA54 SDK available now
- AWR2188: single-chip 8x8 4D imaging radar; TI says its ADC processing and chirp engine are 30% faster than current options
- DP83TD555J-Q1: 10BASE-T1S Ethernet PHY with nanosecond-level time synchronization, preproduction quantities
