Motional robotaxis go live on the Uber app in Las Vegas at no extra cost to riders

Uber and Motional launched robotaxi rides in Las Vegas on March 13, 2026. Riders matched on UberX, Uber Electric, Uber Comfort or Uber Comfort Electric ride in a Motional IONIQ 5 at no additional cost and can switch to a human-driven car. Pickups are limited to designated zones, with a vehicle operator behind the wheel for now.
