Xbox console prices rise up to $150 on August 1, 2026, 2TB model discontinued

Microsoft raised Xbox console prices effective August 1, 2026, after announcing the change on June 25. The Series S 512GB rises $100 to $449, and the other models rise $150, including the Series X 1TB to $749 and the Series X Digital to $699. Microsoft cited a more than 2.5x rise in console storage and memory costs and expects another doubling by fall 2027, and it dropped the 2TB Series X.
