NVIDIA backs SB Energy Ohio campus for OpenAI with credit support on 4.25 GW and $1.5B investment

NVIDIA said it will provide credit support for the initial 4.25 IT-GW at SB Energy's PORTS-Pike campus in Ohio, with an option on the remaining 3.75 IT-GW, and will invest $1.5 billion in SB Energy. OpenAI is the tenant under a 20-year lease, and capacity comes online in phases starting in 2028. The support is tied to the build-out, so it adds financial exposure for NVIDIA.
