Tesla builds first production Cybercab at Giga Texas

Tesla announced on February 17, 2026 that the first production Cybercab had come off the line at Giga Texas. The two-seat vehicle has no steering wheel or pedals, so it can only drive itself. Continuous production was not expected until April, and the car depends on unfinished autonomy software.
