Intel named official compute partner of McLaren Racing in multiyear deal

Intel signed a multiyear partnership making it the official compute partner for McLaren's Formula 1, IndyCar and sim racing teams. Xeon and Core Ultra processors will support aerodynamics, vehicle simulation and race strategy, plus trackside edge computing. Intel branding appears on McLaren cars starting at the Montreal race.
