Claude Platform on AWS becomes generally available in 17 regions

AWS made Claude Platform on AWS generally available on May 11, 2026. It gives customers direct access to Anthropic's native Claude Platform through an existing AWS account, with consolidated billing, IAM access and CloudTrail logging. Anthropic operates the service, so customer data is processed outside the AWS security boundary, which separates it from Amazon Bedrock.
