Johny Srouji named Apple chief hardware officer, taking on hardware engineering

Apple said on April 20, 2026 that Johny Srouji is now its chief hardware officer, effective immediately. He moves up from senior vice president of hardware technologies and now also runs hardware engineering, which John Ternus had overseen before taking the CEO role.
