What it is

Deribit is the crypto options and perpetual futures exchange Coinbase bought in 2025. It offers options, perpetual futures, dated futures and spot. Coinbase's Q2 2026 deck reports derivatives volume at the platform level and does not report Deribit's standalone revenue or profit.

Why it matters to the stock. Deribit gives Coinbase exposure to crypto volatility trading and a large derivatives business. Options and perpetual volume is a read on crypto risk appetite and hedging demand.
