What it is

Intel's next manufacturing node, designed from the start for outside customers. Intel says it could pause or cancel 14A if it cannot land enough committed external demand.

Why it matters to the stock. 14A is the largest binary bet in the Foundry story. A signed external customer would lift expectations for Foundry; a pause would mean Intel relies more on TSMC for later nodes.
