Threads

Meta's text-based public conversation app, launched in July 2023 and a direct rival to X. Meta has not published a current daily user figure. Its Communities feature left beta in June 2026, and Threads is part of the Family of Apps segment with no separate revenue line.

Why it matters to the stock. Threads is Meta's main test of a new social audience to sell ads into, and the user numbers are the only public signal of how it is growing.
