Costco July sales rise 10.7% to $23.12B; adjusted comparable sales up 6.6%

Costco's July 2026 retail month, four weeks to August 2, had net sales of $23.12 billion, up 10.7% from $20.89 billion a year earlier. Total comparable sales rose 8.9% as reported and 6.6% excluding gasoline and currency effects, and digitally-enabled comparable sales grew 17.7%. Higher gasoline prices lift the reported figure above the adjusted one, so traders track both.
