What it is

Costco's websites and mobile apps in nine countries, plus digitally enabled sales that include Costco Travel. The company averages 9,000 to 11,000 SKUs online, far more than in a warehouse, and says it keeps investing in its sites and apps and in IT.

Why it matters to the stock. Digitally enabled sales are growing much faster than the company as a whole and are the clearest sign of new-channel growth beyond the warehouse.
