CrowdStrike agrees to buy XM Cyber's IP and expands Schwarz Digits partnership
CrowdStrike signed a definitive agreement to acquire the intellectual property of XM Cyber, a Schwarz Digits company, including more than 45 patents and proprietary source code. It is not buying XM Cyber's revenue or customers, which will keep running as a standalone business under an IP license. The deal came with a multi-year plan to offer Falcon through Schwarz Digits' STACKIT sovereign cloud in Europe.
- Acquires IP only: more than 45 patents and source code; no revenue or customers acquired
- Closing expected in the second half of fiscal 2027, subject to regulatory approvals
- Schwarz Digits to adopt Falcon internally and offer it to European customers through STACKIT
- XM Cyber customers can move to Falcon over time through Falcon Flex
