Lam Research breaks ground on 120,000 sq ft Tualatin, Oregon R&D lab for 2028 opening

Lam Research held a groundbreaking on August 26, 2026 for a 120,000 square foot R&D lab at its Tualatin, Oregon center. The lab is expected to open in 2028 and will focus on advanced deposition and etch processes, materials science and hardware validation.
