NVIDIA to invest $2 billion in Nebius and back a 5 GW build-out

NVIDIA agreed to invest $2 billion in Nebius, and the two companies said Nebius will deploy more than 5 gigawatts of NVIDIA-based capacity by the end of 2030. The equity came in as a strategic investment rather than a customer contract, and it was counted as part of the $6.3 billion of capital Nebius secured in the first quarter. It is a large vote of confidence that also ties Nebius to NVIDIA's newest hardware for years.

  • NVIDIA investment: $2 billion
  • Deployment target: more than 5 GW of capacity by end of 2030
  • Hardware covered includes NVIDIA's Rubin platform and Vera CPUs
  • Counted in the $6.3 billion of capital secured in Q1 2026
