Nike names David Denton CFO effective August 17; Matthew Friend steps down

Nike said David M. Denton will join as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer effective August 17, 2026, succeeding Matthew Friend. Friend steps down from the CFO role on that date and stays with the company through September 4 to support an orderly transition, including the June 30 fourth-quarter call. CEO Elliott Hill called it a natural moment for a leadership transition.
