Palo Alto Networks completes Chronosphere acquisition for observability

Palo Alto Networks said on January 29, 2026 that it had completed its acquisition of Chronosphere, a cloud-native observability company. The company plans to combine Chronosphere's platform with Cortex AgentiX so AI agents can detect and fix security and IT problems. Chronosphere's Telemetry Pipeline stays available as a standalone product.
