TI unveils 3 GSPS ADC and 800V isolated hot-swap controller for AI data centers
On October 12, at the Open Compute Project Global Summit, Texas Instruments introduced three data-center power products. The ADC34DSO75 is a 3 gigasamples-per-second converter that monitors power rails for nanosecond events. The LMI800PS is an 800-volt isolated hot-swap controller that TI calls the industry's first, and the LMK6B is a bulk acoustic wave oscillator. The release gives no pricing or production dates.
- ADC34DSO75: 3 GSPS, event-based nanosecond detection of power-rail events
- LMI800PS: 5 kVrms reinforced isolation, replaces a five-IC discrete design, board area cut by more than 60%
- LMK6B: 9.6 fs jitter at 625 MHz, aimed at data-center links approaching 3.2 Tbps
- TI also shows 800 VDC bus converters with NVIDIA's MGX AI Factory ecosystem
- No pricing or availability dates given
