Visa books $237 million interchange litigation charge in fiscal third quarter

Visa's fiscal third-quarter 2026 results, released July 28, 2026, included a $237 million special item for the interchange multidistrict litigation. Total litigation provisions in operating expenses were $253 million for the quarter. The same release reported $563 million of severance costs in personnel expense, and GAAP EPS of $2.97 against non-GAAP EPS of $3.32.
