Astera Labs launches Aries 7, a PCIe 7 signal conditioning family for copper and optical links

Astera Labs announced the Aries 7 portfolio for PCIe 7, covering links from short PCB traces to optical runs of more than 50 meters across racks. The family includes smart retimers, redrivers and cable modules, plus the company's first optical devices, optical drivers and optical TIAs for near-package and linear pluggable optics. Sampling to select hyperscale, OEM and near-package optics customers is expected to begin in the fourth quarter of 2026.
