AMD to invest $150M in Nutanix stock and fund up to $100M of joint AI work

AMD and Nutanix announced a multiyear partnership to build an open, full-stack enterprise AI platform. AMD will buy $150 million of Nutanix common stock at $36.26 per share and fund up to $100 million of joint engineering and go-to-market work, for up to $250 million in total. The equity stake is expected to close in Q2 2026, subject to regulatory approval, and the first platform is due from late 2026.
