CFTC seeks comment on crypto rulemaking for retail leveraged trading and crypto asset markets

The notice would also create a crypto asset market category for exchanges registering as designated contract markets. It covers margined, leveraged or financed retail trades, while the chairman described the framework as a federal option rather than a mandate.
