AI infrastructure orders
Hyperscaler AI infrastructure orders reached about $9.3 billion in fiscal 2026, with about $4 billion in the fourth quarter alone.
The numbers
What it is
Orders from hyperscale cloud operators for networking gear that connects AI accelerators, measured separately from Cisco's total product orders. The orders are lumpy and concentrated in a few customers, and Cisco reports them as a separate figure.
Why it matters to the stock. This is the single number that most directly shows whether Cisco's AI networking bet is converting to revenue. Q4 total product orders rose 35%, but only 25% excluding hyperscalers, so the hyperscaler share matters for the quality of the growth.
