The numbers
What it is
Cisco's 102.4 Tbps switching chip for AI data centers, sold inside new N9000 and Cisco 8000 systems, with 800G linear pluggable optics and 1.6T OSFP optics. The 100% liquid-cooled systems are Cisco's claim of about 70% better energy efficiency; those figures are Cisco's own and not independently benchmarked.
Why it matters to the stock. The G300 is the chip Cisco needs to win the next AI cluster build-outs against merchant-silicon switches. Its shipping timing is the key test for whether networking growth holds into fiscal 2027.
