Nvidia-powered robotaxi network
Announced plan, not yet in service. Uber targets a fleet of up to 100,000 Nvidia-powered autonomous vehicles starting in 2027.
What it is
Uber and Nvidia plan to build a global autonomous fleet using Nvidia's Drive AGX Hyperion 10 platform. Stellantis has committed to supply at least 5,000 vehicles for US and select international markets, with production expected by 2028.
Why it matters to the stock. The network would make Uber a large owner of autonomous compute and vehicle supply chains, not just an app. Traders should treat the 2027 start and the 100,000 total as targets with no committed timeline for the full fleet.
