Coca-Cola now expects Africa bottling sale to close late in Q3 or in Q4 2026

Coca-Cola's outlook assumes the pending sale of its African bottling operations closes toward the end of the third quarter or during the fourth quarter of 2026, subject to regulatory approvals. In the second quarter the company reduced a previously recorded impairment on those held-for-sale operations by $66 million. The sale removes a bottling business from Bottling Investments revenue once it closes.

  • Closing assumed toward end of Q3 or during Q4 2026
  • $66M reduction in previously recorded impairment in Q2 2026
  • Operations are classified as held for sale; subject to regulatory approvals
