The Coca-Cola Company makes and markets the world's best-known soft drink brands and sells them mainly as concentrate to bottling partners, who make and distribute the finished drinks. It also owns bottling operations in some markets, owns a large stake in Monster Beverage, and sells water, sports, coffee, tea, juice, dairy and plant-based drinks. FY2025 net operating revenues were $47.9 billion. The company is led by Henrique Braun as CEO since March 31, 2026, with James Quincey as Executive Chairman.
How it makes money
Coca-Cola earns most of its money from concentrate and syrup sales to bottlers, which carry a high margin and little capital intensity. Its company-owned Bottling Investments segment sells finished drinks directly, which carries lower margins but more revenue. Income also comes from brand licensing and marketing, and from its 20.9% stake in Monster Beverage. Growth comes from price and mix, sparkling and zero-sugar lines, water, sports, tea, coffee and dairy, and acquisitions and divestitures of bottlers.
