Gas equipment backlog and slot reservations rise to 100 GW, target 110 GW by year-end

In its first-quarter 2026 results, GE Vernova said gas equipment backlog plus slot reservation agreements rose to 100 GW from 83 GW at the end of 2025. It now expects at least 110 GW under contract by the end of 2026. Gas turbines are the core of Power and the main driver of its orders, so the gigawatt total sets the pace of future revenue.
