SK hynix shows high-bandwidth flash, PIM and SALT-KV at AI Infra Summit 2026
At AI Infra Summit 2026 in Santa Clara (September 15 to 17), SK hynix showed high-bandwidth flash (HBF), its AiMX accelerator card and PIM products, and a software method called SALT-KV that places LLM cache data across HBM, DRAM and SSD. Vice President Lim Eui-cheol argued on September 16 that the GPU-HBM architecture alone cannot serve increasingly diverse AI workloads. The release gave no performance, bandwidth or capacity figures.
- Event: September 15 to 17, Santa Clara
- HBF drew the most visitor interest at the booth
- Booth doubled in size from 2025; about 6,000 attendees
- No performance, capacity or power numbers given
