Uber and Pony.ai expand robotaxi deal to more than 2,000 vehicles in Europe

Uber and Pony.ai expanded their partnership to deploy more than 2,000 Pony.ai robotaxis across Europe, building on the Zagreb service launched in spring 2026. Four further European cities are planned but not yet named, and no timeline was given for the full fleet. The companies also plan joint operations in the Middle East, with no details yet.
