Credo's Toucan PCIe retimer earns PCI-SIG compliance at 32 GT/s

Credo said its Toucan PCIe retimer passed PCI-SIG compliance testing at 32.0 GT/s, the PCIe 6.0 speed. The company says customers can deploy the part in both PCIe 6.0 and earlier-generation systems, and it pairs the device with its PILOT diagnostics software. The milestone supports Credo's push into PCIe retimers for AI servers and accelerator boards.

  • Toucan achieved PCI-SIG compliance at 32.0 GT/s
  • Built on a 7nm process, described as low power
  • Credo says the design aligns with PCIe 7.0 technology roadmaps
