Broadband and wireless chips
Broadband and wireless chips are part of Semiconductor Solutions. Broadcom does not report them as a separate line, so there is no separate revenue figure. On April 30, 2026 it launched a 10G PON gateway SoC and Wi-Fi 8 radios for mass-market broadband.
What it is
Chips for broadband access and home networking, and wireless connectivity for phones and other devices. Broadcom sells them alongside its data-center and AI product lines. The April 30, 2026 release added the BCM68565 10G PON gateway SoC, with the BCM67142 and BCM67192 dual-band Wi-Fi 8 radios.
Why it matters to the stock. This is the more cyclical part of Semiconductor Solutions and is exposed to phone and consumer demand. The fiscal 2025 annual report flags wireless applications as a source of revenue volatility.
