What it is
Host bus adapters that connect servers to Fibre Channel storage area networks (Emulex brand), and PCIe switches and retimers that link CPUs, GPUs, NICs and storage inside servers. Broadcom does not report this as a separate revenue line.
Why it matters to the stock. This is a steadier enterprise business, but it is small next to AI, and it is reported inside Semiconductor Solutions. It matters mainly as a read on enterprise storage and server refresh demand.
