Synopsys adds former Deloitte executive Peter Shimer to its board

Synopsys appointed Peter Shimer, a former Deloitte executive and interim CEO in 2022 and 2023, to its board effective immediately. He joined the audit committee. The board also decided not to renominate directors Luis Borgen and Ajei Gopal, who will serve until the 2026 annual meeting.
